ACCOUNTING CLINIC

WIBO has developed relationships with some of the leading accounting firms in New York City. We now offer an accounting clinic to our entrepreneurs.

Participants can ask accounting related questions on topics such as:

1.Business structure tax implication (i.e. sole proprietor, corporation, limited liability or partnership)
2.Types of small business taxes
3.Record-keeping and bookkeeping
4.Financial planning
5.Retirement planning for small businesses

All appointments are 30 minutes. Participants must make an appointment to receive accounting advice. A reservation is required.

Sixty-five percent of clients have household incomes below $50,000 and 43% have incomes below $30,000.

The 16-week workshop and consulting services are equivalent to a mini MBA program. Due to private support, the cost for the workshop including materials is $249 with further discounts for individuals with incomes under $50,000. The market value of the workshop is $4000.
